PAPERS

Within the academical activities 20 papers will be presented in parallel sessions which will take place on friday september 30th of 2016 between 09:00 and 11:00 am.

Rules of participation
To present a paper proposal, send through an email an abstract no longer than 800 words, single spaces in one page only (bibliography excluded).

In this email you must identify yourself as the author as well as your respective pseudonym, a brief CV (maximum of 5 lines), contact address (e-mail) of each of the authors involved as well as the institution you belong to if applicable.

It is indispensable that the paper you propose is an unedited work which has not been published or presented at a previous world mediation congress.

The proposal must include within your text:

  1. Pseudonym
  2. Objectives
  3. Theoretical framework
  4. Development of main ideas
  5. Conclusions

The deadline for the reception of proposals is August 10th of 2016. The proposed paper will be received in a digital format to the following e-mail:comitecolombia16@gmail.com

All of the proposals will be evaluated by a scientific committee which will communicate to the authors of their acceptance after August 20th of 2016.

Afterwards, authors will send their FULLY WRITTEN AND EDITED papers and will have the timeline to do so until september 10th of 2016. The texts must not exceed 5,000 words which will be in a .doc/.docx format, times new roman font, 1.5 spacing with numbered pages. Pages for bibliography will not be counted towards the total word limit.

IMPORTANT: In case an author does not deliver their paper by the established deadline under the required rules, they will automatically lose the right to participate as a speaker and the next person on the list will be invited, following the merit list elaborated by the scientific committee.

The works which are selected will be published on the website of the Congress starting in the month of October 2016.

Note: The selected work will also allow for a free enrollment to the activities pertaining to the XII World Congress of Mediation and Peace Culture to up to two authors which includes the activities which will take place from the 26th of September to October 1st.
